Terms of use
1. Who you are dealing with
Edge (edge.polytrade.app) is operated by [legal entity name], a company registered in [jurisdiction of incorporation] at [registered address] ("Polytrade", "we"). By using Edge you agree to these terms.
2. Who may use Edge
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live and legally allowed to use a service like this one. Edge is not offered to anyone in, or resident of, [restricted jurisdictions list], or to anyone on a sanctions list. You are responsible for whether using Edge is lawful where you are.
3. What Edge does
Edge lets you build and publish baskets of tokens and copy baskets others publish, on Base, Robinhood Chain, Solana. When you copy a basket, Edge creates an agent wallet for that copy and its software trades the basket for you, inside the limits you set. Edge is software. It is not a broker, an investment adviser or a managed fund, and nothing on Edge is investment, legal or tax advice.
4. Custody of your agent wallet
Edge generates each agent wallet's private key on its servers and stores it encrypted (AES-256-GCM). You never hold that key. This means Edge has custody of the money in your agent wallet while it is there, and you rely on Edge to operate it inside your limits and to return it when you exit. Your own wallet, and its key, stay yours.
5. Your mandate and your limits
On Base and Robinhood Chain you authorise an agent by signing a mandate in your own wallet. It records your wallet as owner, the agent wallet, the mode, the rebalance interval, your stop-loss and take-profit, the per-token and turnover caps and the budget. Edge's engine trades only inside that mandate. A Solana leg has no signed mandate. On Base and Robinhood Chain you sign a mandate in your own wallet that sets the agent's limits; Solana has no equivalent here. Edge creates the Solana wallet and holds its key, your signed request to create it is the consent, and what bounds it is the money you bridge in plus the budget, per-token and turnover caps Edge's engine applies. Stop-loss and take-profit are not run on a Solana leg.
6. Apps and agents you connect
You may authorise a third-party app, AI assistant or chat integration to connect to Edge on your behalf by signing a permission in your own wallet. In this release, a connected app can read your account (baskets, agents, operations and the permission you gave) and, if you allow it, publish baskets, change and reshuffle all your baskets and claim your creator earnings to your own wallet, up to the daily limit you set; it cannot start or exit agents or move money anywhere else. Anyone copying your baskets still gets 24 hours' notice before a change takes effect. The permission sets the limits the app must stay inside, and Edge enforces those limits on its servers. Edge never takes money from your wallet on an app's behalf: when funding an agent through an app becomes available it will need a payment you send yourself, and exit proceeds will always go to your own wallet. You are responsible for the apps you authorise and for what they do inside the limits you set. You may revoke a permission at any time on the Connected agents page; revocation takes effect within 30 seconds and does not exit agents already running. Edge may disable an app it believes is abusive, which revokes every permission given to it.
7. Exiting
You may exit at any time. Exit sells what the agent holds and sends the proceeds, less any fee then due, to your own wallet (a Solana leg's proceeds are bridged to your wallet on Base). A token that cannot be sold at that moment stays in the agent wallet until a later exit sells it. Exits depend on markets, third-party routers and bridges, and can be delayed or fill at a worse price than shown.
8. Fees
Fees: a 0.30% swap fee on each trade your agent makes; 10% of profit when you exit, only above what you funded and never on a loss. These are the rates in force today; the exact terms of each, including how a cross-chain basket's performance fee is charged once on its net across legs, are on the docs page, which reads them from the same configuration that charges them. We may change fees; a change applies to trades and exits after it takes effect. Platform fees go to the EDGE treasury. Polytrade may use treasury funds to buy TRADE; that is at its discretion, not a commitment, and holding TRADE gives no claim on fees. A creator's share of a fee is paid to the creator.
9. Gas
You pay the network fee on the transfer that funds an agent. After that Edge pays the agent's network fees from its own gas tank while that tank is funded. Edge does not commit to keeping it funded; when it is empty, the agent may be unable to trade until it is.
10. Publishing baskets
If you publish a basket you are responsible for its name, description and contents, and you must not use it to mislead, to promise returns, or to impersonate anyone. A creator's handle on X is self-declared and not verified by Edge. We may hide a basket from listings. Any creator or referral share is set by the platform, can be switched off or changed, and is not a promise of income.
11. Risks
You can lose all the money you put in. Prices of tokens and tokenized assets are volatile; stop-loss and take-profit are checked on a schedule and can be passed by a fast move; trades can fail or slip; bridges, routers and smart contracts can fail; and custodial wallets can be compromised. The docs list these in full. You use Edge at your own risk.
12. No warranty, and limits on liability
Edge is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Polytrade is not liable for trading losses, for losses caused by third-party services (blockchains, bridges, routers, data providers, wallets) or for indirect or consequential loss. [liability cap and carve-outs, per counsel]
13. Changes and suspension
We may change Edge or these terms, and may suspend or end access, including to comply with law. We will not stop you from exiting money that is yours, except where the law requires us to.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law]. Disputes go to [courts or arbitration forum].
